Today is the 137th anniversary of the legendary American magician (Hungarian by birth), Harry Houdini. And as good as ever, Google is in place with a bar to celebrate.
Talking about the man himself, Harry Houdini was a great escape. According to the story, gave a demonstration of the evacuation of the wives of Scotland Yard, which completely baffled the police for ... remained clueless (literally).
Houdini could escape from prison, handcuffs, chains, ropes, and even straitjackets. And his popularity began to grow, Houdini became very popular as "The King wives."
What is the best escape, you ask? The "milk can escape" in which Houdini would be handcuffed and sealed inside an oversized milk can filled with water. Houdini was, of course, escape. "Chinese water torture cell" is the next iteration of this trick that Houdini had the copyright.
Houdini was not a magician and escape artist, but also a film producer and Myth Buster!
